Europa House involved the conversion of existing warehouse space to provide 1,858m2 of comfort cooled and mechanically ventilated office accommodation over two floors.
The works involved upgrading the building utility services to suit the larger loadings, and the modification of existing services to permit the conversion.
Heating and cooling was provided via VRV systems with mechanical ventilation and heat recovery.
Angus Meek Architects introduced a central atrium to provide good levels of natural lighting into the deep plan floorplate.
The new open plan office areas created are arranged around a central atrium light well and the works also included a new training room, cellular offices, kitchen areas, additional rest room accommodation and core facilities.
